What would of been the odds just a few years ago that a poor Irish plumber on wellfare would become UFC champ and the most famous active fighter on the planet? The guy was carrying dumbells around in his backpack as a kid to fight bullies.

He never gave up on his dreams and beat all the odds. Conor McGregor is a true underdog hero. Not to mention the beautiful back story of staying with the girl who was with him when he had nothing through all of that.

If we all fought and strived to be more like Conor in our everyday lives we would all be better people. Can't begin to state what he's done for the sport. Already top 5 all time IMO, but beat Eddie and he can start making his case at GOAT combat athlete.

You will never be KOfinger

TS did you get bored of posting from your stillmyboy alt?

He would be a great rags-to-riches story if he wasn't obsessed with mouthing off to everyone he fights like a disgruntled prostitute. Now he's more likely to be an Evander Holyfield story of a massively successful fighter who blows all his money and goes broke by 40. Unless sports cars and parties are a good investment.

From 99Silva to KOFinger to Natesblackshirt to WeidmansDad

A working class guy from Ireland is more of a feel-good story than the hundreds (or thousands) of fighters and other athletes who have come from unthinkable poverty around the world?

Conor is not much of a story at all. He's an entertaining personality, which is great, but give me a break.

Switch 'Conor McGregor' to 'Platinum Perry' in the headline and you got yourself a true GOAT thread going on, son... I am disappoint.

And blow. You can never forget the blow.

Yah, I'm sure he's been totally faithful the whole time to Dee. Fool please lol. The man is no saint, he quit his plumbing job and got on welfare...all while Dee worked to support him. Sounds like a stand up guy. I love Conor inside the cage but outside the cage there's not much good to say.

havent you ever seen Rudy?

communist.

It's that time again for Conor to lose badly so his dumbass fanbase (like you TS) can get back to reality. This doesn't go for all McGregor fans because I know that there are some of you who are actually normal people.

Yeah, cause there hasn't been thousands of stories of kids from the ghetto making it to the NBA... or kids from poor countries going on to become soccer stars... or baseball players... or boxers...

You're a muppet.
