I've been wondering this for a while
Most fighters are sponsored by a supplement company, or only use one or two brands. You see them pimp the products in the backgrounds of UFC embedded and fighter vlogs. Jones stated on two occasions that he only uses one company, which turned out to be a lie.
You can find out what's banned and not banned pretty easily, a cursory search on USADA's website will show you that. I understand that it's somewhat expensive, but why not just get a lab to independently verify that your supplements are clean and file this information in when you apply for a license? It's like a one time expense, and you just keep samples everytime you get a new batch and record the batchnumber/date of sale ect.
Is there an obvious reason I'm missing as to why people don't do this?
