His bout against Chad Mendes at UFC 189 appears, as does his quick knockout of Jose Aldo at UFC 194 to claim the featherweight title, but his most recent bout against Nate Diaz is given special mention too.

The fight went the full distance, and the article posted on the site claimed that: "No list of the biggest events in UFC history would be complete without UFC 202."

The full 10 events that the UFC chose as the best of the best are below, listed in chronological order rather than ranked.

10. UFC 1 – November 12, 1993 (Royce Gracie vs. Gerard Gordeau)
9. UFC 31 – May 4, 2001 (Randy Couture vs. Pedro Rizzo 2)
8. UFC 87 – August 9, 2008 (Georges St-Pierre vs. Jon Fitch)
7. UFC 100 – July 11, 2009 (Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir 2)
6. UFC 116 – July 3, 2010 (Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin)
5. UFC 129 – April 30, 2011 (Georges St-Pierre vs. Jake Shields)
4. UFC 189 – July 11, 2015 (Conor McGregor vs. Chad Mendes)
3. UFC 194 – December 12, 2015 (Conor McGregor vs. Jose Aldo)
2. UFC 200 – July 9, 2016 (Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes)
1. UFC 202 – August 20, 2016 (Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz 2)

LOL UFC going full Conor retard. This list is a joke. Biggest selling does not equal best cards.

By putting Conor's PPVs on the list three times, it shows just how lacking in depth and quality the UFC is right now. Wht a disresepectful, joke of an organization.

Everybody knows that the best card was UFC 76.

All three of those cards were great and 189 is one of the all time best cards in UFC history.

The UFC has without doubt been putting their best cards on these last few years and they seem to top themselves every few months nowadays. No issue with this.

It's almost as if the newer cards generally do better numbers. Wow....what a shocker!

Either way UFC 205 is gonna be on there and Conor is the main event so there's still gonna be at least 3 even if you disagree with 189 or 194. Both are great cars by the way.

UFC 200 is on there and that was a pretty average card, especially the main card.

The choices are all agenda based, but that's to be expected.

205 will be the biggest card of all time. 2mil plus and conor will make history as the first two division champion and its going to take an army to get one of them off his shoulder.

198 was good from what I remember

No mention of the Ultimate Ultimate 95 or 96?

Biggest selling does not equal best cards.

Yeah but you know what they mean in this context.

And you undersold Conor - he has been involved in 3 of the 4 greatest cards. Give the man his just due!

You sound sadly salty. Be a major man and hop on the McGregor war wagon

I think the article and TS are confused

"No list of the biggest events in UFC history would be complete without UFC 202."

"Biggest" not best

eh thats cos most of the cards Conor is on end up being great events
