2. He would become much more well-known, as the guy that exposed Conor, and the guy that started his downfall.

3. He avoided facing "The Eagle".

Well done Eddie. As the LW champ, as he said, that was the easiest fight available, with the spotlights on him.

Conor's point was EA had NO CHOICE except to take the fight under his old contract, not that he shouldn't have accepted the fight or didn't make the right choice. It's not hard to understand. Conor's pointing out the fact that EA is 'blessed' to be in the situation he's in. Again, old contract or otherwise, NO ONE is saying Eddie shouldn't have taken the fight.
