Conor started fighting in 2008 so it was still good but not as good as when we had both Pride and UFC. It went stale around 2010-2013. Strikeforce and WEC going out of business were contributing factors. It has gotten better since Conor has come to the UFC. If the question were "Has the UFC gotten better since Conor/2013?" I would say yes. Most people will say MMA was better before Conor/2008 and I can't disagree.

edit: I didn't vote in the poll as it seems to be trying to say MMA being better or worse is dependent on Conor

The fighters are much better now, but I do miss tournaments, open weight, gi's, boxing glove on one hand, and Tank Abbott.
