The only way that the UFC will "bury" him is if he starts trying to throw his weight around in the same way he did pre-acquisition and mucks up potential business deals for the new owners. Honestly, I could see it happening: he's got a taste of major power and leverage, but WME-IMG is Hollywood and Hollywood plays war games with people's careers as a matter of course. Plus, WME-IMG seems really cutthroat in their demands that the fighters stay in their predetermined lanes. Conor knows how to recognize and play the game, though.
