Ronda "ducking" Cyborg

To make it clear that Ronda actually never ducked Cyborg its the other way around:

Here's the full history between Cyborg and ronda:

What happened was that Ronda beat Budd and Cyborg got busted for steroids. Ronda still agrees to fight Cyborg at 145 (According to Cyborg and her lawyers) for the FW title. However, with Cyborg unable to get her suspension reduced SF gets rid of the 145 class, effectively cancelling the fight (Cyborg's ruins the fight #1).

Cyborg then says she will fight Ronda at a catchweight of 140 (Aug 13, 2012)

To which Ronda's manager agrees with VADA drug and hair follicle testing (Aug 19)

To which Cyborg backs out almost instantly saying she "will fight at 145, no less" and that she is the champion (actually she wasn't, she was stripped of the belt), and Cyborg ruins the fight for a second time, and ducks Ronda directly for the first time.

Then the UFC buys SF and picks up Ronda's contract and creates the 135 class. Then, the UFC picks up Cyborg's contract and even offers to let her to go Invicta and make money while she trims down until she can make 135. They even offered to PAY Mike Dolce for her to help her lose the weight.

Ronda refuses to fight at 145 or 140 after grabbing the 135 belt.

Ronda continues to duck by not accepting 140 or 145 while accepting to fight against Gina at 145.

Duck #3

Now ROnda lost her excuse that she was the champ.
Why didn't she accept to fight Cyborg yet???
 
If Ronda doesn't face her at 140lbs like all other 135ers like Zingano, Pena, Nunes, Tate, Holm, Shevchenko, who's to blame?
 
Rousey could just say "ok, let's do it at 145" and expose if Cyborg is bluffing or not. And don't tell me this "but the UFC doesn't have a 145 division for women!" bullshit. There is no 125 and 140 divisions either, and fights still happened at those weights.

didnt cyborg get popped before the first fight had a chance of happening? then since cyborg got popped they got ride of 145 and ronda became 135 champion??
Didnt ronda say out of respect to gina she would fight her at 140 and not a steroid cheat like cyborg but the ufc and dana publicly said it wouldnt happen with gina either unless 135
Id love to see the fight at 140 now ufc lets cyborg fight there, lets hope it happens now ronda is calling her out again and doesnt stick to her stupid 135 clause for it to happen

No.
She got popped AFTER Ronda moved down.

They didn't get rid of the 145.
When SF folded, UFC created 135 division only (in an obvious move to protect Ronda).
Then Cyborg was released from her contract and moved to Invicta.

And Ronda first used the excuse she was the 135 champion so she wouldn't fight anywhere outside 135.
Until Gina was into talks with the UFC. then Ronda said she would fight at 140-145.
Use the excuse you want, if she is willing to fight anyone outside 135, then she is ducking Cyborg.

Well its the most exciting Wmma fight possible, now with the talks back of ronda wanting it i hope shes not just blowing smoke for the sake of it and shit gets real this time.
 
They've both managed to duck eachother, and still are.

A lot hinges on Ronda though.
Is she mentally ready for this? I don't know.
She disappeared from view, so it is hard to gauge.

I hope they fight. But I would rather ROnda comes back first, gets her belt and then we see the fight, with both being on top.

A fight right now could be a mistake from Ronda...

...but if she pulls it off, it would be the greatest comeback in history.

You mean when she was 4-0 as a professional and had been fighting for 1 year? And she opted to first pursue the BW title and then move back up before facing the #1 fighter in the world? What a DUCK!

To be fair though, that's a better record than literally everyone Cyborg has faced, so maybe she did duck.

After Rousey won the WBW title in SF, she defended it once, and then called Cyborg out for a fight at WFW, after which Cyborg popped for steroids. She even still asked for the fight after Cyborg's return, but she wanted the fight with increased testing. The UFC signed Rousey before the fight ever happened, and Cyborg turned down a UFC contract.
 
If Ronda wanted the fight, it'd get made today. We've just seen Dana caters to his stars. She wants nothing to do with Cyborg.
 
So ronda would fight gina at 140 out of respect but not cyborg?
