If Zuluzinho had a Matt Serra moment against Fedor, would that have changed Fedor's legacy?

So lets just say when Fedor fought Zulu and Zulu clipped him and knocked him out cold. But then with the rematch Fedor beat Zulu like (he did in their real fight).. Would that have changed the way people looked at him? Or would everything be the exact same?

Wonder if anyone else has though about this..

If Fujita finished Fedor, Fedor's legacy would be different.
If Randleman finished Fedor, Fedor's legacy would be different.

Obviously.

It would have hurt his legacy a lot. As much of a mismatch upset as Serra vs GSP was, Serra had way more legit claim to fight GSP than Zulu did fighting Fedor. And that says a lot.

But Zulu got Zulu'ed and all is as it should have been.

Is this a "GSP is the GOAT" thread?

Edit: part of what made Fedor's legacy what it is, is that he didn't have a Hughes/Serra/Chinan/Takase/etc moment until going undefeated for a decade, in the hardest division to do so. So yes, losing would have affected his legacy...but he didn't.

At least Serra was a legit fighter. Zuluzinho was a fat blob that lost to fucking Butterbean via keylock

Peoples still act like Serra KOd GSP out of nowhere, instead searching that punch the whole -short- fight

Better example will be Randleman-CroCop

nah he would have just kept wrecking fools
