I disagree.
I think the Unified Rules, the judging, guys who fight solely for 10-9 rounds, forced this situation.

There was a better sport before this sport.

PRIDE matchmaking was the freak part.

However ! PRIDE was the real sport of MMA.

It had a ring.

It had MMA specific judging criteria.

It had tournaments.

It had sportsmanship !!!!

UFC is just another USA version of something.

You guys made music not about music but about gossip.

You took movies and made them about gossip.

You took the savage sport of MMA and made it about gossip.

Hell, you took presidential elections which are supposed to be all about intelligence, leadership, seriousness and once again, made it all about gossip, rumors and drama.
