Max is a savage, has nothing to offer spilled piss other than an ass whupping an retirement. Im guessing what is behind this is Jose not wanting to fight Max. Plus Pettis is the PERFECT match up for Jose, essentially Barboza 2.0. He would kick the shit outta Tony's legs and Pettis lacks the boxing to put Jose out. Pettis is a very strange study, either a case of the USADA blues, wrong place at the right time or has some serious mental hang ups.

thats a shitty reason to want to see it lol..... if it ever happens I want them at their best, thats when the fight would have the potential to be epic. right now Id favour Aldo to do what you said and kick the shit out of Pettis, I just think the 3 losses and injuries took a bit out of Pettis. He can get back to decent form as he is a great fighter, which is why Id rather see him get a couple more wins.
