There is no doubt about it. UFC are allowing Mcgregor to keep his title and fight at other weight classes. They desperately want to keep Mcgregor as a champion.
Jose Aldo should have gotten an immediate rematch against Conor after going undefeated for over 10 years and proving himself to be the best featherweight fighter of all time. He didn't.
Aldo fought and defeated Frankie Edgar in a number one contender fight while Mcgregor was fighting Nate Diaz (in a meaningless fight). Aldo was now destined to have his rematch.
Conor Mcgregor refuses to fight Aldo on account of his 13 second knockout. Mcgregor is ducking Aldo because he if afraid of losing his title. Mcgregor doesn't want to risk losing to Aldo who is the toughest opponent he could face at FW.
Imagine if JDS refused to fight Cain after knocking him out in 60 seconds? We would not have the two fights where Cain proved he is the better fighter. This is the biggest case of ducking we've ever had in MMA. Tyron Woodley is getting hate for ducking top contenders but he actually agreed to fight Wonderboy. Mcgregor is ducking Aldo and will never fight him again because he is afraid and knows he got lucky in the first fight

It's official: I'm first in the wasteland.

Edit: fuck

Ducked out of the way before he landed that left cross

Iagree

inb4 the Conor cock-gobblers come in and say otherwise, post Aldo gif etc

You can't duck a guy you already beat for a tougher fight. Try again.

Did this post take longer than 13 seconds to write?

I think it's more likely he's ducking the SCALE.

Dude looked 3 breaths away from death at those 145lb weigh-in days.

no one gives a flying fook about your teen angst, save this shit for the bus ride to school

I'm not a Conor fanboy but he is not ducking anyone. He just has nothing to gain by fighting Aldo and can't possibly win in a better way on the other hand he has the chance to fight for a new belt and become a 2 division champ in a fight that probably sells better and makes him more money on o ne of the biggest UFC cards ever.

Which fight would you chose?

It's understandable that Conor doesn't want to fight him right now. Not a lot of money to be made compared to some other match ups and Aldo is notorious for pulling out of fights due to injuries.

bahahahahahahahahahahahhaaha you're an idiot.

This is twice now he's challenged for the 155 belt. We will see if Eddie makes it to the fight or be like RDA when he tucked his tail between his legs

Junior Dos Santos didn't duck Cain Velasquez. Conor is ducking Aldo. Worst case of ducking ever in the history of mixed martial arts.
And Alvarez isn't a tougher fight than Aldo, that's ridiculous
