So UFC 205 is shaping up to be argaubly the best PPV card in history. With PPV king Conor Mac headlining, how many buys do you think it does? His last 4 PPV's are below:

UFC 189 (vs. Mendes): 825,000
UFC 194 (vs. Aldo): 1,400,000
UFC 196 (vs. Diaz): 1,600,000
UFC 201 (Vs. Diaz II): 1,650,000

The Card
C.McGregor (20-3) vs. E.Alvarez (28-4)
T.Woodley (16-3) vs.S.Thompson (13-1)
J.Jedrzejczyk (12-0) vs. K.Kowalkiewicz (10-0)
C.Weidman (13-1) vs. Y.Romero (12-1)
D.Cerrone (31-7) vs. K.Gastelum (12-2)
------
F.Edgar (20-5) vs. J.Stephens (25-12)
K.Nurmagomedov (23-0) vs. M.Johnson (17-10)
R.Evans (19-5) vs. T.Kennedy (18-5)
M.Tate (18-6) vs. R.Pennington (8-5)
------
T.Alves (21-10) vs. J.Miller (27-8)
T.Boetsch (19-10) vs. R.Natal (21-7)
L.Good (19-3) (1-0) vs. B.Mohamed (10-1)
G.Villante (14-7) vs. M.De Lima (14-3)
L.Carmouche (10-5) vs. K.Chookagian (8-0)

Over 2 mil.

205 is fookin stacked.

I'm guessing the 1.2-1.3 mil range - I mistakenly voted 1.5.

Eddie is not Nate
Thompson is allergic to self promotion
Anyone who is going to watch Joanna/Karolina is already going to watch Conor so I doubt it gets a bump from that.
I don't think it outsells 202.

I have feeling it is going to be 2mil because its stacked and Colin is main fight

It sucks that we now seem to spend more time counting other peoples money and pay packets then comparing their skill as fighters,

Either the UFC has a lot more shareholders than I thought or I am missing something.

PPV numbers have been talking about for a long gone time around here. If you missed it. Well it's long gone.

M.Tate (18-6) vs. R.Pennington (8-5) looks to be on the PPV, not prelims

it is too early to guess now
There is a long way to go hype wise

Deserves to do over 2 but I'll say 1.7

I hope after 204 they promote the hell out of it. 202 was getting no hype from casuals around here in Canada until the bottle fight.

I never understand why people enter threads (& post) when they clearly don't care about the topic

Why do you always get some people moan about these threads? There's hundreds of threads created each day, so what if 1 of them isn't about actual fights. Lots of people are interested in how many buys each event gets.

Its always been a topic of conversation sure.

But lately it has become THE topic of conversation.

I want to see Conor fight Aldo, its the best fight and its due.
I don't want to see some apparent "Super" fight between two defenceless champs no matter how much money anyone but me makes.

This is one of the best cards in MMA history, it is stacked. I might have to purchase this, this is going to be a rumble

Plus it is a HUGE part about matchmaking.
