Boxing doesn't have a weight limit for the heavyweights yet the UFC does. Is the UFC scared guys like Cole Konrad and Baruto would own their belts? Why is their a freaken weight limit??

It really comes down to the commission now. The UFC could add it though, they are just into a certain look and do not like flabby fighters. I think that's stupid. Roy is a fan favorite, so I think anyone can be.

Baruto is tough.
He puts in on people for his size.

pretty sure they aren't scared of a guy whos been retired for four years taking any belt

Do you REALLY wanna watch fighters that appear to be stuck in syrup, as they fight?

Such as:
Akebono vs. Giant Silva

There is no argument against a SHW division. Some will say they will gas out, slow as syrup but that is bs. If they are that slow, fat,etc they won't get into the ufc, let alone win a belt. It would enable big guys to compete without cutting weight. It would also enable big athletes to compete. Cain would likely own both the hw and shw belts.
Simple solution - get rid of the bullshit 265 limit. The champ isn't legit until that's done.

Wouldn't it be cool to have Brock Lesnar fighting at a catch weight of 290 pounds against guys from outside the UFC once every 3 months?

Cole Konrad is retired and fought at heavyweight.
