I hate to get caught in hype
But seriously though - props to Dana, Joe and Sean Shelby for this one

Lightweight Eddie Alvarez (c) vs. Conor McGregor
Welterweight Tyron Woodley (c) vs. Stephen Thompson
Women's Strawweight Joanna Jędrzejczyk (c) vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz
Middleweight Chris Weidman vs. Yoel Romero
Welterweight Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum
Women's Bantamweight Miesha Tate vs. Raquel Pennington
Featherweight Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens
Lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Michael Johnson
Middleweight Tim Kennedy vs. Rashad Evans
Middleweight Tim Boetsch vs. Rafael Natal
Lightweight Jim Miller vs. Thiago Alves
Welterweight Lyman Good vs. Belal Muhammad
Women's Bantamweight Liz Carmouche vs. Katlyn Chookagian

With possibly a Jose Aldo fight (probably not gonna happen, he's probably going up to New York to do some media for a Max Holloway fight down the line) and a very likely Khabib/MJ fight which I personally LOVE
This fight card is almost perfect. Every single fight has serious implications for the division its in with the possible exception of Jim Miler/Alves which SHOULD have been Iaquinta/Alves which was great match making.

This thread has probably been done a dozen times - but mein gott.
What a fight fans fucking dream card. I might be shelling out for good tickets to this card, haven't been to an event since Kenny/Gomi

Ah, the days when Timmeh was the man, and Nick Diaz was ending hype trains left and right

Name recognize wise it has to be up there

Tate, Edgar, Kennedy Miller, Alves, Stephens, and Evans are on the prelims...... (thats easily a Fox card main card right there).

As of today, yeah. Just have to remember it's the injury and USADA era. Props on the regular show GIF, +1.

Timmeh Vs Monson was a stinker tho.

I think all others fights on that card were finishes tho. (65)

I find difficult for Aldo to be there. Maybe as attendance.

I think even fight matchups it's up there
I don't see many obvious locks on that card - Joanna and Tate should probably be the biggest favorites imo
Lots of close fights on this card, very few match ups where I would be surprised if one guy won over the other

Yeah I doubt it as well, wouldn't even be time for another main event. Some media members seem to think it's in talks though.
Khabib vs MJ is a sneakily great match up though imo. Wish it would be a five rounder, but I'm down to see Khabib do Khabib things for 15 minutes.

Damn, Weidman - Romero, what a clash! Praying for Romero to fuck this smug boy up.

But to answer the question, yes, 205 is the best card I have seen in a long time.

Other than the usual few women's fights that nobody cares about, it's an unbelievable line up.

Jeremy Stephens/Frankie Edgar doesn't get you excited?
Lyman Good vs. Belal Muhammad isn't a good fight?
Karolina vs Joana doesn't get you hyped?

Dude.
