Fight goes as follows. Round 1: They meet in the middle. Conor throws a quick jab. Eddie responds with a sloppy 1-2. Conor counters with right hook. He then proceeds to systematically outstrike Eddie and drops him with a straight left. Eddie recovers and shoots for a takedown and gets it laying on Conor for the remainder of the round.

Round 2: They come out. Eddie immediately shoots a double backing Conor to the fence. Conor defends and gets off the cage. They exchange and Conor catches Eddie with a 1-2 that hurts him and Conor finishes it with some GNP. TKO R2 3:52

Yes the consensus is a second round knockout for McGregor. That's what I'm going with. It's gonna be vicious!

Prediction? Pain.

Conor via 1st round TKO. Eddie will try and strike wth him at first, get wobbled, shoot for a sloppy takedown. Then Conor stuffs it, they stand back up, and he finishes Eddie off with a clean 1-2. Over.

Sounds plausible enough but you're underestimating Eddie's striking, his head movement great and his clinch game is second to none at LW adding his wrestling and heart and Conor's got a tough fight ahead. I think if Conor can't take the fight by the beginning of the 3rd round then Eddies gonna grind him into the mat for a late TKO.

Eddie by decision via hug fest...
Eddie ain't no Khabib. Even if that was his gameplan. His Philly instincts will kick in. He will brawl. He will get himself KO'd.

Conor by first round finish. The first shot that he lands will either hurt or finish him. If it does only hurt, the second shot that lands will get it done. I think it will be a counter punch finish, but Conor will stop a few TDs before being able to do his thing. People don't realize how tough Nate is for being able to take those shots, but they will.

If Alvarez can put on the pressure as Cain for 3 rounds , he would probably get the job done by 2nd or 3rd round.

If can't, it will definitely goes to decision.
