According to Dana, Nate Diaz weighed 190lbs when he fought McGregor the second time...

Therefore, should McGregor move further up in weight to fight for the 170-lb WW title after he loses to Alvarez?

...and then move up to 185-lb to fight for the MW title?

The good thing about this scheme is that McGregor can retain his FW belt indefinitely as a marketing tool without having to defend it!

and then all he has to do is move up to fight for the titles at higher weight classes that make tons of money, fights where he has NOTHING to lose. His title is not on the line!

Do you think Dana would keep going with this scheme?

Thoughts?

I like your evil plan and am on board with it.

It would make more sense a shot straight at middleweight, since Bisping or Hendo are easier than Woodley or Thompson. But yeah, line all the belts up, Conor is coming for them. lmao... 5 division champ. Oh, boy.

Edit: just have Nate moving up or down too, Hendo will KO bisping and be forced to vacate the belt so that Conor can fight with Nate for the MW vacant belt. Sounds like a good plan too, right? Lots of ppv for sure.

I don't think it's a matter of 'should'. This is probably the actual plan.

I don't think Dana is banking on the slim chance that McGregor would win any titles at the higher weight class.

Dana is just trying to make money fights where "2 champions of 2 different weight classes are fighting each other, " a fight where none of the titles are at risk.

You´re probably right.

Dana is gonna be pissed for leaking his 2017 UFC document plans

If they can convince Hendo to stay on for one more fight after he nuclear fissions Bispings face, it'd make perfect sense and a privilege for Hendo to have his retirment match against Conor.

Face it, Conor would set old man Hendo up for the rest of his life.

His title shot is a fucking farce.

Do you really think Wnderboy's lame spinning shit would work against Conor?

Conor does the lame useless spinning shit. Wonderboy KO's people with it. Wonderboys kicks are what Conor wishes his to be.

He can do whatever he wants but drop that fw belt homie

Nope Maia deserves his shot Conor can wait

I actually think that's what he would do, because the winner of the WW fight will have just won the title before hand or defended in the fight before. Perfect time to call woodley or wonderboy out.And Conor will never fight a fight if he has nothing but the most to gain from that, if he beats Eddie he has no reason in his mind to defend a 155 belt or the 145 about the only way he could gain more is by possibly challenging for the 170
Better to lose trying for the 170 belt than lose defending the belt
