When you factor in his emotional state on the week of 200, more than likely, yeah. He lost out on 2 huge paydays with 197 and Jones at 200.

Weird, considering he had an amazing year last year after his fight with Jones. FOTN against Johnson in a great comeback win, and a FOTY nominee with Gus that was almost as dramatic as Jones/Gus.

Not quite -- his win over Silva was more than Cain Velasquez did in 2014 as he did not fight once, due to his knee problema. Dominic Cruz also went a long time without competing before getting stripped. I would imagine there are other examples, but I can't confirm.
