If you guys watched BARUTO in RIZIN last night he is a legit 400 lb MMA fighter! Decent striking and a solid Judo base. Almost impossible to take down etc. How would he fare against the UFC heavyweights who are half his size?

Depends what's level of athlete were talking about. An A level super heavyweight athlete (basketball/football player) crushes any current HW with 6 months of training. And that's a fact

We saw these big guys in Pride. And they got their shit pushed in by Fedor, Cro Cop and Nogueira. I think it's safe to say Cain, Werdum and JDS would beat the hell out of today's SHW "talent".

You're retarded bob sapp was a ripped 320 pound NFL lineman who ran a 40 yard dash in 4.8 seconds and he's been training MMA for 10 years yet he gets beaten by MW's. Which athlete beats him?

Times have changed, the super heavyweights have evolved. B-A-R-U-T-O is here to stay

Could that guy go for 3 or 5 rounds against a top HW?

I guess we have Lesnar and Bigfoot who would be legit SHW. I still dont see Lesnar beating the top UFC HW even without a cut or walking around 300+.

Problem of SHWs is that they have SHW speed and human skull, wich mean an HW with good hands is faster/agile/balanced than him and still have the power to hurt/KO them

That's why usually they turn into giant punchbags for smaller aggressive HWs

Closest to a functional SHW will be probably Bigfoot, Lesnar, Browne, and Struve allowed to pass the 265 limit

If there's any undisputed scientific fact on Sherdog it's this.

Agreed. Just because somebody can dunk a fucking basketball or run a 40 in 4.3 seconds doesn't mean they can take a right hand from Stipe or avoid getting strangled by Werdum. Being an athlete doesn't mean you're a fighter. Ask Jose Canseco

Baruto is a legend. He would smother Jon Jones with his big old belly.

I thought Baruto could have potential but if he had a war with a 46 year old Fujita it's a bad sign. I haven't seen the fight yet however.

Bob sapp was taking dives for money. When he was really trying he was fucking up elite kickboxers

How many months of training did canseco have tho?

They evolved? how? one shows promise with two wins against non SHWs and SHW's have evolved? really? where are the other super hws?

A brock Lesnar who could weigh 280 - 300 would wrrestlefu everyone in the division.

Depends in what form the SHW arrives in. Big lumbering fatty will get pieced up. A man at 230+ can KO anyone so slow guys have no chance.

If it is more of an athletic guy but just massive it would all depend on their personal attributes, couldn't hurt though

He almost finished Nog. But later he decided to quit fights right away just to get paid.

Easy there sherbro.

The human hart can only take so much they will be gassed sooner then later in a fight you make them work for it a bit.

Also this all just train them 6 months.. doesn't work like that it's the will and the fight in the dog that will prevail in the end.

Some of them would have there will broken after some punches and some difficulty in fight.

Also all those basketball guys with a high center of gravity will be easier to takedown for guys like Cain, Stipe, Brock even if they are legit 7 foot and top athletes.

One kickboxer in a fight where sapp was allowed to cheat without any punishment from ref and unfair stoppage.
Prove his fights were fixed.

he beat ernesto twice. if he did that im sure sapp could beat hw strikers like stipe or jds or even reem
