Dan Henderson is the first name that comes to mind. He basically made his legacy with an exceptional toughness and a right hand. He is relatively one dimensional compared to other greats and some fans rank him even close top5 in GOAT - talks.

Any others?

Conor made a career out of being one dimensional

Conor McGregor, no ground game, no wrestling. He was lucky Dana let him pick his opponents(short notice Mendes, ducking Edgar, fought nate instead of cowboy)

Shields wins this every time unless we want to go back to the old days. Then it's easily Royce.

Yeah maybe Maia, which makes him even better than we say he is, considering his victories.

How much stupid is in this comment?

Conor has no ground game? Here is his offensive and defensive jits.

- He didn't pick Mendes as his short term replacement he only accepted, he didnt duck Edgar in anyway (Edgar lost to Aldo and hence lost his TS), Nate sells so much more than Cowboy and you know it (he probably wasnt even considered for UFC 196 even though they told him he was in contention to get the bout).

You sir, are a cancer on Sherdog.

Henderson has a pretty hefty amount of wrestling accomplishments to go along with that right hand I'd say

Maia
Shields
Hunt
Sonnen
Khabib
ASKREN
Palhares

The most obvious most dominant one-dimensional fighter ever:

Mark The Smashing Machine Kerr!

I suppose one could also make a case for one of the greats:

Royce Gracie

The first pure striker who had any real success in mma...

I think if you're one-dimensional, you need to be able to force your opponent to play your game.

For strikers that means good TDD to the least. For grapplers dunno, but Maia does.

Its still Hendo. Hendo has a far greater legacy than both and almost all of his biggest wins came by a punch from his right hand. Imo, its impossible to top Hendo. He is almost top5 GOAT.

Exactly, a fighter has to know when to tap out.
