This fight would go on the ground and if you roll with palhares long enough you get subbed. Sooner or later Palhares would catch maia in a sub. The only chance he has got is if he keeps the fight on the feet, but I haven't seen anything from maia that tells us he has good enough TDD to do it. Even if palhares is on his back he will catch maia sooner or later.

Anyone who makes a subjective opinion sound like a fact is an idiot. Fight wouldnt happen.

Maia wins by USADA.

Alan Belcher lol.

There has never been another fighter in the history of MMA with the submission prowess of Toquinho. That man could submit a tree stump.

This is the same guy that got tore up by fucking alan belcher on the ground, right?

lol.

Outside of being a troll how did you come to this conclusion? Their pure grappling credentials are not even close.

It would be interesting to see. It doesn't matter that Maia is more credentialed. Shields beat Maia and he got subbed by Palhares.

It's sad that we will never see this legendary matchup.

Imanari is responsible for keeping dozens of Japanese surgeons employed throughout his career. The man is a national treasure.

Maia would frustrate Palhares to the point where he just stops trying.

Do you even watch fights before you troll? Alan Belcher toyed with Palhares on the ground and Belcher is no Maia.

Lets compare world titles in BJJ, maia can defend a heel hook

Maia's bjj is light years ahead of belchers and he toiled palhares on the mat.

Maybe outside the UFC without USADA testing. I mean he subbed shields who out grappled Maia, so anyone saying no way is delusional.
