No chance. This is shaping up to be a great stylistic matchup when these two face off, though.

It's a little like Anderson vs. Maia, except Maia is better as a welterweight and as good as Wonderboy is, he's not Anderson.

If you notice in a lot of Maia's recent fights, he acts as the aggressor. He's very deceptive in how he does it though. He cuts off the cage, and has his opponent backing up. That way, when he shoots for the takedown, his opponent really has nowhere to go. Wonderboy would have to be very active. I can imagine it would be a lot of punch and kick combos, followed by movement to not stay in one place for too long. Stating the obvious here, but Wonderboy has to keep the fight on the feet. If Maia gets a hold on him, I think it's over.

Just based on Hendricks and Rory failing to take Wonderboy down, I'll wager Maia will struggle to get him down. If he does though, he'll only have to do it once.

I think Wonderboy is too elusive for Maia to get to the ground, so Wonderboy by TKO or UD.

IF Maia manages to take Wonderboy down, however, he has a good chance of getting the RNC.
