Unfortunately Dana is going to make this personal.

Dana did not want to pay the Mexican Cholo from the hood more than 50k a fight. He was pissed when Diaz stood up for himself on the second fight. Dana knew he had to pay him or the fight wouldn't happe . But he hated doing it. He's not going to give him a new contract for more money or at least not the money he deserves.
 
Nate only cares about money and wants to make 10 times what every other fighter makes. Not that I blame him, but its Nate's fucking fault he won't fight again.
 
Agreed, but money should be based off of rank and championship fights not bs hype.

The UFC helped create this and needs to put a end to it.

If not fighters will quit trying to be champs and just try to fight the "hot" fighter at that time to get "paid".

The UFC needs to make fighters act more professional tempering the Conors for the longterm good of the support.
 
Money should be based on how many butts you put in seats. Not ranking or belts.

Ben Askren UFC WW champion. Give him 10 million bucks and watch him sell less PPVs than Mighty Mouse.

UFC goes bust.

Give Brock 10 million bucks and watch him bring in 50 million bucks.

It's too soon to say anything about Nate's future. The UFC would be foolish if they fail to capitalize on Nate's increased popularity, so I'm sure they'll offer some good fights. Nate may turn down some fights, but so far, I haven't heard of any.

Also, what Dana says or thinks doesn't mean much. Nate, who "isn't a needle mover" just coincidentally headlined two of the largest PPVs of all time? Do you think that would've happened with RDA vs Conor?

Every sport is like that buddy football, baseball, soccer, basketball, the best are popular and some are entertainers, but none put on a ACT like certain UFC fighters do.

Their epicness on the field/court makes them popular!!

If the UFC is happy being a entertainment class B sport then great, but longterm 10-15- 50 years from now this hype train teenage bullcrap isnt how you do it.

Go watch track and field if you want to see performance based entertainment.

Fighting was always hype based.
 
Just because Nate says he's only interested in fighting McGregor doesn't mean he won't fight again. Nate says a lot of dumb shit, that's why he is popular. Nate will be a PPV draw going forward. The UFC will pay him.
