He got the best of both worlds. He looked bad ass, once again proving his toughness. He proved the first fight wasn't a fluke by coming on strong again after Conor getting winded which in many ways was deja vu. But he gets the loss on the scorecards which substantiates a third fight and consequently, another fat pay day. If you are going to take a loss, a razor close majority decision is the way to do it without your stock going down.
In fact, Conor was seconds away from being finished at the end of the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th rounds. He lost even more of his invincible aura. Nate proves once again he's tough as nails and his fan base continues to grow after that performance. Make no mistake, he is thrilled with those judges. Now he doesn't have to fight until Conor is ready for the trilogy.
