The whole point was the apprehension of the weigh in. Who will and won't make weight? Who'll look like death? Seeing the emotion of relief from making it from a few nervous guys

the only reason they still are is because they generate revenue on youtube and facebook etc. people watch them, especially for big fights. The UFC wont want to lose any revenue streams, especially now with the new owners

That display was fake as fuck. I say scrap the whole deal. It's either got to be authentic, or it becomes a punchline. I don't enjoy watching starving fighters in their drawers anyway. I say keep it private. Do something else to recapture the lost revenue.
