ALL THREE JUDGES scorecards said that Conor dominated the fight, in as much as all three of them gave him rounds 1, 2, and 4. The "majority decision" was because one judge ruled that round 3 was a 10-8 round for Diaz, which brought his scorecard total to a draw. Note that he did not suggest that Diaz won the fight, only that he felt that he won round 3 decisively. The other two judges ruled that Diaz won the round but not decisively enough to be a 10-8 round. I would argue that one could have just as easily called round 1 a 10-8 round for McGregor, but that's splitting hairs and I'm not a judge, nor a monday morning QB. No need to revise history, the judges got it right.
