I would. and probably be a good investment. I wonder if that's the goal of the new owners.

depends on how much it would cost per share..... they are a massive business, Id wait until the stars retire, buy low then hope a new Conor or Ronda emerge soon after

if the fertitas got out, it cant be a good sign. even rogan is leaving soon. it can only go downhill from here my friends!

there you go.... the UFC is dying post of the day! ;)

Yes, yes I would...

I own the total US stock market, so yes, I would have a stake in the UFC. They're called index funds, if you haven't figured it out.

Depends on the price and worth of it, how much of the company would I get if I invested $20, and what would be my gains from that annually ?

Depends on when the IPO was.

The union talk is very worrisome as an investor. If the stock becomes public before a union deal is reached ... you're going to be paying way too much based on the 4 billion dollar sale price. With a union you're going to start losing some of your profits, more threat of government intervention and I can't see more than 52 UFC events a year. Profits are going to go down, year after year.

I don't think the decision to buy the UFC was smart - 4 billion is way too much. Buy Bellator for much cheaper and spend a billion on luring popular UFC fighters away. Big names are what interests the public. Network TV made money from Kimbo Slice.

The UFC will be profitable but it's not a stock I would want. It has little upside.

Maybe a few shares for shits and giggles.

Yep. Part of it is that the owners have so much control. You don't have to worry about pesky fighter wages getting in the way of profits.

The only sane answer to this question is "it depends on the price and how many shares are outstanding".

The UFC is 1 person away from losing most of its value.

I'd let the over exuberant folks drive the IPO price up then short it

There's absolutely no way I'd trust UFC management with my investment money. They'd probably just pay themselves and Ronda a ton of money and cause a net loss each year.

The fighters and media don't trust them. Would you trust someone who has goons escort you to the back so you can receive an earful and roughing up prior to being kicked out and banned for life?
