If you pass the pre fight test it's easy to pass the post fight test if you didn't take any more damage. Conor hurt his foot more which is why he didn't pass the post test

because after a fight the doctors basically just make sure you don't have a concussion and ask you what hurts. They don't do any sort of real exam

Besides lying to oneself is the reason fighters can bounce back after a loss. It keeps your confidence up, you would've won if X didn't happen. Which is true a lot of guys can beat the guys they lost to. A lot of it is right place and right time.
