Big f'ing deal.

Somewhere, Khabib's knee lightly touches a chair leg, and he'll be out another 2 years.

Fractures spine and yet no health insurance from the UFC.

but this time it just wasn't going away so I went and saw a back specialist in America who did X-rays and an MRI and stuff. He said because I have nothing between my L5 and S1 discs, it's like vertebrate going on vertebrate, and over time I'd irritated it and got a small fracture in my spine.

"It sounds terrible, but what it is now is it's a lot about pain management, and I've just been taking some strong anti-inflammatories to get the inflammation of my discs. That all said, all it did was really hinder my training for a few weeks and fighting in Hamburg, don't get me wrong, I could've done it, but I wanted to be at my best for me, my fans and my opponent.

Pickett is fucking crazy

Yeah, I'm sure the medical staff overseeing the event will let him fight.

Seeing as Bantamweights regularly reach 5'8" cut the hyperbole!

I'm getting an operation on my L5-S1 disc. Getting artificial disc replacement. It's very very painful. I can only imagine what he's going through. I need to take 4 Norcos a day to be able to function

Really idiotic if true. Risking paralysis and ending his career.

Thank Christ for regulations if true.

He won't make it into the octagon now that it's disclosed.

It sounds worse than it is. I’ve had the same thing for years. I’ve KNOWN about it since around 2004, no telling how long I lived with it before that. It’s not the type of thing that’s going to cause paralysis, just discomfort and/or pain on occasion.
No reason he won't be cleared to fight.
