Have you ever seen prime Tyson because if you did you would know that his tactic was to place his head into the opponents chest with his guard up and not give them any space to unload punches while he he would be within perfect striking range to land devastating meat hooks on his opponents.

Tyson being average height is irrelevant, what is though is that he knew what formula worked best for his body frame and didn't get caught up in the conventional way of thinking where idiot trainers force everyone to fight tall,there seems to be a one size fits all mentality in boxing gyms,but in Tyson's case he had D'amato who had a vested interest in Tyson being successful.

As for Tyson in mma,Tyson commented on this subject during a event that he was a guest commentator on and said that if he was to enter the UFC at the time of Royce Gracie that because he came from a boxing background and that grappling experience is a must that he would probably not do so well,in my own personal opinion just the fact that he
aknowledges something like this would lead me to believe that he would have the mindset to properly prepare for one of the early competitions and be competitive.

Tyson's whole career was koing lanky guys like Lewis and the only reason those two beat him was because they just happened to be in their primes at least Lewis,Holyfield was still physically better than Tyson only because Tyson spent 6 years in prison and his skills and conditioning faded.

No I realized his was head was out of it after Cus died and he would'nt have gotten any better because he had too many yes men in his ear. The people Tyson ate up had nowhere near the the skill Lennox did. Tyson also had a suspect chin, a lot worse then Lennox. Tyson really only had a few decent wins in his career and he was lined up a bunch of guys he could beat. He didn't even fight the top gate keepers from that era, Witherspoon and Mercer. George Forman says Lennox is the goat and I take his word over yours. Lennox lost 2 times cause he came out cocky and almost killed the guys in the rematch. Tyson never avenged any losses and again his three best wins are Razor, Spinks and an old Larry Holmes. After Cus died he lost to anyone he couldn't bully and really was a one trick pony with a shakey chin.
