He's 0-3 in his last 3 fights. 1-3 overall in the UFC with his last win being in 2011(5 fucking years ago) over a smaller BJ Penn. He got gifted a title shot after losing to Condit.

Nate keeps saying they gave everything he and his brother worked for to Mcgregor but Mcgregor actually won big fights and cleaned out the division just to get his title shot. Nate and Nick have been losing fights in the UFC.

How can people call Mcgregor all hype and then boost about Nick as being a great fighter that has paid his dues?

Nick is over-hyped IMO.

Nick like Nate puts on entertaining fights but is a fringe top 10.. Maybe not even top 10 anymore

I'm a big Nick fan, but it's because most of his fights through the years have been incredible, even when he loses. I would say he is overhyped for the people that think he can win a title and go on some sort of run, but for people that think he has the potential to be in an awesome fight against anyone at 170/185, that makes sense. And yea I know his fight against Silva was pretty lackluster, but Silva gets some credit for that. He was supposed to kill Nick.

I wouldnt say in UFC history, the man took Condit, GSP, and Anderson Silva all to decisions. And even though the Strikeforce and Elite XC's talent pool wasnt very deep, he ran through their welterweight divisions, he even gave us one of the most exciting MMA fights in history against Gomi in Pride. He may not go down as one of the greats but he embraced the role of MMA's bad boy when it desperately needed one and has always showed up to fight (exception against Silva), he is at the very least a respected UFC veteran, who had his time to shine.

Nick could havd debatably beat most of the WW top ten instead he mostly sat out. His competition in the UFC had been BJ, gsp, silva and condit now besides gsp he made those other guys look bad even in losing

What does his pay pre-Conor compared to 13 Mil equal in "Hype"?

Is that a lot?

Conor is the most over hyped fighter in UFC history and it's not even close

No hes not overhyped. His fans just want to see him fight as much as possible against whoever would motivate him enough to fight his best, and hope that his meanness alone will get the job done.

Nick's career is at a low point, true. 3 losses. But look at his record. He has beaten a ton of great fighters in spectacular fashion. Lawler, Gomi, and Penn to name just a few.

Of course he paid his dues; he has been fighting 7 years longer than McGregor and has fought 14 more fights than him.

Like Henderson, Bisping, Lawler, Silva, Faber.. They have all stood the test of time. Nick has been relevant for almost 15 years.. probably before some Sherdoggers were born.

Like nate said, they're too real to win in the UFC.

Probably.

He doesn't have a single win over a top 10 guy in his weight class in what, 10 years? Maybe more? Was Paul Daley a top 10 lol?

And yet people are calling for him to get a title shot. LMFAO!
