Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar today was given a temporary suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission stemming from a pair of failed drug tests in connection with his UFC 200 return to the promotion.

Lesnar was given a temporary suspension by the commission pending a full hearing, a date for which has yet to be set. Lesnar tested positive for the estrogen blocker clomiphene and its metabolite, hydroxy-clomiphene, the commission revealed.

Lesnar failed an out-of-competition test conducted by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, the UFC’s anti-doping partner, in connection with UFC 200, which took place July 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He also failed a fight-night text. Lesnar and Jones tested positive for the estrogen blocker clomiphene, and Jones also tested positive for another estrogen blocker, letrozole.

Lesnar (6-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) won a dominant unanimous decision against Mark Hunt (12-11-1 MMA, 7-5-1 UFC) in UFC 200’s co-main event.

Lesnar could face as much as a two-year suspension as a first-time offender. He also could be subject to fines and the reversal of his win to a no-contest. In the aftermath of his win over Hunt, he returned to the WWE – but has not ruled out returning to MMA.

Prior to the announcement of his return to the UFC after an absence of nearly four and a half years, Lesnar was given an exemption by the UFC and was not subjected to the same four-month period before a fight for athletes returning from retirement. He was tested during the buildup to his fight, though – and that’s when one of his tests came back positive.

I keep seeing Brock on IGN for the wrasslin game.

I'm sure he'll be just fine.

who cares? Brock doesn't, he's not coming back so they can't do a damn thing about him, even if he does not pay the fine
