Well, the truth is, a guy who's only a fighter will always loose to an A-level athlete who trains MMA.
A fighter is just an euphemism for B-level athlete who couldn't make it in another sport but is tough and can punch, which was enough for a long time but now this changes.

Woodley himself talked about how this "making it a fight" and "being tough" isn't enough to win if you can't deal with superior athletisismn. He said that's why Amanda won and that's why Robbie won't win just because he 'makes it a fight'.
