I saw Fight Valley and it featured Miesha Tate, Cris Cyborg and Holly Holm. It appeared to be a relatively low budget film centered in Camden New Jersey with a very gritty atmosphere and with a plot involving women in various forms of combat. Tate had by far the largest role and actually did a reasonably decent job. Holm's role was not really integral to the plot and she had very few lines. Cyborg's role was more integral to the plot but she also had very few lines. I think Tate may have somewhat of a future in acting.
The film is not "about" MMA and doesn't really feature fight scenes that will be entertaining for MMA followers.

I can't begin to imagine what could possibly possess a person to watch a movie starring MMA fighters.

I watched Captain America II, and while it is a bit silly I really enjoyed it.

EDIT: I do think that a film being called 'Fight Valley' and featuring the fighters that are actually in that film would be a bit of a red flag to me.

That movie literally sucked more than 8 vacuums watching a hundred year-long BJ porn in a blackhole.

Why would you do that to yourself?

I certainly never had any intention of paying to see this. But when it comes out on regular cable I'll watch.

Good informative write up TS.

id love to see tate acting but not in that type of genre

Ronda would go bonkers if Meisha to started getting bigger roles than her.

I remember when Randy Couture called Jet Li a Chicken Sh*t in Cradle 2 the Grave. Oscar Worthy Performance.

If they had Rousey in it, it would've become a box office smash.

You have a point - 90 minutes of my life that I will never get back. Maybe a little bit better than waiting in a TSA line.

That didn't really "star" GSP though. He had a few minutes of screen time and I don't even recall seeing him advertised in the trailers.

I imagine this is one of those films you just sit down and get high and watch for the hell of it.
