Shogun - Beat ol' boy from pillar to post. Great win.

Rampage - Prior to the Jones fight he was unable to KO Jardine then lost to Rashad. Then won a very controversial split decision vs Machida which he was even surprised to win THEN beat Matt Hamill to get his title shot... After Jones beat him he lost clearly to Bader and Glover.

Machida - Earned his title shot after getting KO'd by Shogun, losing the Rampage fight and beating old man Randy...

Evans - Solid four fight win streak vs top guys. Good win.

Belfort - Was a roided up MW who didn't deserve a LHW title shot at all. Because you know, he was a MW.

Sonnen - MW coming off loss.

Gustafsson - Should have lost against.

Glover - Good win.

Cormier - Best win considering how outsized Shogun was.

NOT THE GOATIEST???? WTF did i just read?? If you try and discredit his wins fine but that was an epic run to say the least. Add in his 5 fights before his title run to see how good it is. Jones wrecked the LHW division and cleaned it out in 2011, which is why by late 2012 he faced two straight guys who normally fought at middleweight.

Rationalize all you want you just sound like a hater BUT I agree, Jon much like Silva's legacy falls out of the top for me but not because of a long list of excuses, simply because they cheated and god knows how many times they did it.
