With all the PED tests and Hunt's complaints, here's an idea.

Because the UFC will never ask money back from Brock and get it.
If they really want to ensure no PED usage there should be these stipulations for testing positive:

1. Healthy insurance is covered no matter what. Meaning if they're injured, they still get bills paid, even if they cheated. Dont want them going bankrupt and they do risk life and limb.
2. Cost of camp is covered before fight, meaning their coaches, nutritionist, sparring partners will get still get paid no matter what. They break even because hey, they still worked for months even if using PEDs.
3. Athletes not paid profits until after in competition testing clears. If testing is positive, 50% deduction will be given to opponent who did not test positive or the purse will be reduced by 75%.

No. They don't get paid until after the fight.

That's how they 'fine' a fighter; they deduct it from their paycheck. Also Bigfoots 'Fight of the Night' bonus went to Hunt after he popped.

According to chael there's a line in the contract that says if you fail a drug test the UFC can keep all your ppv points money, which he said was 8 million on top of the 2.5 million disclosed fee
