Current WMMA rankings from ScoreCardMMA, updated on Aug 25, 2016

In this thread I will post all Female MMA Rankings created by ScoreCardMMA.
We are updating our rankings weekly and you will be able to see updated rankings every Monday morning.
All Graphs and Tables posted here are linked to files on our server.
When we update them, you will automatically be able to see the latest version.

Following are Current Top 20 Rankings for the two WMMA strongest divisions:

To compare strength of each Weight Category we calculate Category Score.
Following graph shows Category Scores (split into 3 components) for all male and female divisions:

Gadelha should be higher P4P than Pena and so should Val, Val is basically a 125lber working at 135lbs. Gadelha is one of if not the most well rounded female on the roster.

Next graph shows recent Current Score changes for some WMMA BW fighters:

Based on all Current Rankings (divisional and P4P) we can create a ranking for WMMA Countries.
Each fighter is typically associated with one country, but our system also allow to have two countries.
There are only a handful examples of female fighter being associated with two countries.
Here are a few:

• Randa Markos was born in Iraq, but is also fighting for Canada
• Valentina Shevchenko was born in Kyrgyzstan, but is also associated with Peru.
• Celine Haga - South Korea and Norway.
• Jessica Aguilar - Mexico and USA

Current Score is recorded for each Quarter End (on Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, Oct 1).
When we put all historical Current Scores we get a graph that shows historical change.

Following graph shows how Current Score (for some top female fighters) was changing since 2011:

Why is Ronda 2nd ? Actually why is Ronda in the list ? She doesn't have any fight scheduled , and looking at her current physical form she's closer to 185 than 135.

Calderwood doesn't feature anywhere in the Top 20 at strawweight despite having every fight but 1,in the 115 division.

fights at 125 as a catchweight bout and it gets her #1 ranking at 125 and #15 on the p4p ?....beyond bizarre.

Yeah .. that was the one thing I was giving the side eye too. JoJo is still a fighter at Strawweight ...
