Belt is a hot potato. Once the dominant champ (Rousey / Liddell) loses the belt, everybody is losing to everybody.
After beating Liddell for the 2nd time, Rampage was supposed to be the next long-term champ. He defended it once and then lost to Forrest Griffin.
Holm was supposed to be the Floyd Mayweather of WBW after beating Rousey and she was promtly off in la-la land against Miesha.
Forrest loses to Rashad, Rashad to Lyoto, Lyoto to Shogun...
Holm loses to Miesha, Miesha to Nunes. Then Holm starts losing to people that weren't in the title picture.
The LHW belt was getting handed around like Arianny Celeste until the King in the North Jon Snow grabbed that thing and held it down for years.
Is there going to be a WBW champ that can hang onto that belt, or even win the fights necessary to get back to a title shot after losing the belt...
Or is that division destined for turmoil in the aftermath of the one true queen...
