New fan question

Hey everyone I'm completely new to MMA. My dads a huge fan and talks to me about the fights and I wanna start watching but I have a mindset that I wanna be well versed and knowledgeable about the guys fighting before I watch is there any archive of fights or way I can polish up on knowing about the fighters and the rules of ufc? I've watched a match here and there but I really wanna start watching on a regular basis with some knowledge under my belt
