Cerrone's Punching Power Is So Underrated

He is tied for the LW lead with 9 knockdowns. This punch against Cote blows my mind. I know it was a hook, but there was very little rotation behind it. When I first saw it, I literally thought it was a jab because of the shoulder angle. It doesn't look like the typical hook. This against one of the best chins in the UFC.

It's great technique. You can see him turning it over perfectly and pushing his shoulders into it. It was so well done it was easy to miss how well it executed during the broadcast.

Dana needs to shut the fuck up. He has won 10 of like 11 fights and most on short notice.

Dana's looks at Cerrone like your average fighter. The problem w/ this is that Cerrone fights so much, looking at what he did 2 - 3 years ago and beyond is meaningless because he's had 2-3x the fights most fighters have in the same time span.

But talking about Cerrone skills, I will not go far and say he is a striking artist like Barboza, Thompson, Machida. But he is definitely a tough well rounded dude that hits hard.
