Edmonton Police Service Homicide Detectives have laid charges in connection with a fatal hit and run that occurred on Sunday, June 26, 2016.

Anthony Getschel, 23, is charged with second degree murder, criminal negligence causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and fail to stop at scene of accident involving death.

Jordan Wagner, 21, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

reports say a 34 year old white male was killed in a hit and run, wasn't confirmed it was Jimmo but the description matches the fighter.

Rest easy Ryan Jimmo, most people will remember him for his highlight reel knockout over Anthony Perosh.

I'll remember the dude for being a genuine stand up guy, he loved his fans and always seemed happy to entertain them even when he was cutting weight

Horrible ending to a good life.
