So i created a thread for bantamweights the other day which was interesting, so i'll do it for the other weight classes, starting with Featherweights. Will be interesting to re visit these threads in 5 years time.

Just 2 rules are: Must be no older than 26. Must have had 6 or fewer UFC fights (rules out Hollaway & Oliveira etc).

Think long term when voting - most likely to become a UFC champion in the future etc.

Mirsad Bektic - 25 - 10-0 MMA (3-0 UFC)
Yair Rodriguez - 23 - 7-1 MMA (4-0 UFC)
Doo Ho Choi - 25 - 14-1 MMA (2-0 UFC)
Brian Ortega - 25 - 10-0 MMA (2-0 UFC)
Renato Moicano - 26 - 10-0 MMA (2-0 UFC)
Zubaira Tukhugov - 25 - 18-4 MMA (3-1 UFC)
Teruto Ishihara - 24 - 8-2-2 MMA (1-0-1 UFC)
Arnold Allen - 22 - 11-1 MMA (2-0 UFC)
Diego Rivas - 24 - 7-0 MMA (2-0 UFC)

I voted Yair Rodriguez. He is so skilled and talented, I think he will go far.

Most will say Yair but idk. Give him a Bermudez type of guy

i know what you are sayin. i alomst went with mirsad Bektic because of his win over a tough sob in chas skelly. but in time i think yair is the champ

No Max Holloway = this poll sucks.
max dosnt count. you cant beat up steavens, swanson, and olivera's neck and be included in this prospect list. even if he is young

Mr.Finland should be on that list. He isnt that good and has only faced poor competition so far, but is still 3-0 UFC and 27y.

Ok. Then it's Mirsad Bektic. He's the only sound, process-driven fighter on that list.

ortega.

i reckon he will be champ by 2018.

I think Yair is the most exciting but I don't think he will go the furthest. Too many times he throws wildly and end up on his ass. Eventually a pressure fighter will capitalize on it. Just my opinion.

I think Yair will go far from being really popular even if he does hit a few road blocks from him being reckless. (we have all seen what being a crowd pleasure can do for a fighters career)

I also think DOO will do well, he has it in the ring I just don't know how much attention he will receive from the bosses for a while since he isnt a big talker

Mirsad Bektic if he can get his ass in the cage.

Holloway is no longer a young prospect, but a serious contender.

I think TS meant prospects.

Yea I mentioned in OP that the poll is only for fighters with fewer than 6 fights, which ruled out Max Hollaway & Charles Oliveira.

Bektic beats everyone else on that list imo. He's a special talent.
