If Fedor's victories over Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia had taken place in a UFC octagon at the time they happened, how differently would he be perceived now? I ask because those were two of the UFC champs during Fedor's reign in Pride. His hater's like to call him a can crusher, but those two would've been the people he faced, had he been in the UFC instead.

If Fedor had been in the UFC he would've gotten wrecked as he got face planted by a 41 year old Hendo, submitted by Werdum and literally buried alive by Silva's Gn'P

Well probably not because they would've been in Strikeforce

It all depends on how he did after that. If he would have stuck around to face Mir, JDS, Cain, Carwin, Brock, and Randy. Then Alistair, Cormier, Bigfoot, Barnett and Werdum after the Strikeforce merger we could make a fair assessment.

He did beat a lot of top guys, but with all of the fuckery between his management and the UFC there were a lot of fights that we missed out on.

In a perfect world he would have moved to the States and started training at Jackson's MMA and stuck around the ever evolving game. But as of now there are to many variables, Some that work for him and some that work against him. Either way the evidence is still inconclusive for him to be referred to as the goat.

He would have gotten a TS against Couture after he beat Sylvia and probably would defend it against AA. I think he beats Brock but then he would run into a young hungry Cain or JDS.

So if Fedor was in the UFC, he would have taken losses to Strikeforce fighters?

What an epic failure of a troll attempt.

He would have been champ in the Arlovski/Sylvia/Mir/Couture era for sure.

Brock, Carwin, Cain JDS would have beat him tho...

Fedor beat Sylvia after he got dominated by 40 year old LHW Randy and submitted by Nog. His only victory was over Brandon Vera. So Sylvia was 1-2. He gets more credit than he deserves for that win. I never hear Nog fans talk about his win over Tim and he beat Tim earlier.

His Arlovski victory was a big deal though. Arlovski was number 2 in the world and had knocked out Rothwell and Nelson and beaten Werdum in his 5 fight win streak before Fedor.

He would've dominated, but Mir catches him with a sub the same way Werdum did

I think he would beat all of them

But lol at brock, a BIG LOL

Prime Fedor had fast powerful hands, look at what Cain did to Brock.

He beats Monson/Freeman/Vera/Mir/Matyushenko/Wiuff/Cabbage/Eilers/Buentello/Kondo/Cruz/etc.

He still has epic run, most defenses, huge monster, "padded schedule", but it happens in the UFC, and we'd still shit on him for not doing it in Pride where the best HW's were, and where fighters weren't afraid of juiceboxes.

Funny how that works.

Did you see how Bigfoot toy him?
Brock would have suplex him harder then Randleman did and would stay on top of him until the ref stop the fight...

Fedor is a chubby 220lbs guy.... come on now.

Tim sylvia was the greatest greatest ufc heavy weight champ ever. Period. End of story. All these bums on sherdog shit on him and claim whoever the current champ is is the goat. Its rediculas.

Fedor = best heavy weight ever
Tim = best ufc heavy weight

Good chance that Fedor would have subbed Brock on the ground or KO'd him standing

Nope; Vadim/J Silva hold out until Mir has the cycle accident, so he beats that Mir. Also, Frank is too busy trying to sleep at night because strawberries are coming.

The epitome of two fighters going in the opposite directions, that's like holding the thrashing by Holmes against Ali.

The TS hypothetical has so many variables that it's hard to see where Fedor would be if he fought Tim in the UFC. Firstly the cage is Fedors Achilles. Secondly, would he have fought Mir or Brock for his title defense. Would AA still be in the UFC? Would AA be in the mix?

Perception wise. If he got that belt, yes he wouldn't be questioned as much. But he didn't and so the criticisms are justified

STFU dude, Hendo was on "TRT" so was Big Foot, legit lose was to Werdum.
