We don't know that, he performed well under circumstances but we don't know the extent of damage at this point.


Rumble and Varner both tried to thug it out years ago during fights and ended up having pretty serious eye procedures afterwards.

Larkins was really bad, I remember when Rumble had a string of like 3 fights of getting bad pokes when he was younger. I dunno what else you can do though as far as gloves that won't hinder grappling. Maybe be more strict with reffing??? If these guys knew they'd get docked a point when it happens I'm sure its something they'd drill in camp, keeping their fists closed. I mean the only person who should really have their hands open are the Diaz brothers bc they use the slap so effectively lol
