Never forget. The most unique title fight ever. Both fighters undefeated and had been destroying former champs along the way.

Both had intriguing styles and I believe it sold a lot of PPVs, don't recall how many but it was a lot. When Machida won the way he did the air was electric, people couldn't believe it actually happened. The Machida era was short lived, but man was it interesting and amazing.

This was close to around the time I started watching mma, one of the first fighters I became a fan of.

I miss the Machida era. He seemed unstoppable.
