Bj and it wouldn't even be close.

Prime TS drunk uncle vs prime my gay friend in grab ass sauna competition. Who takes it?

BJ = Not always a smart gameplan.
wouldn't be suprised if he try to Takayama's Frye in the clinch.

Bj "COULD" win this...

Winner fights the winner of old Vitor Belfort vs chuck liddell with that look in his eye

Give the matchup a little thought. It's not a gimme for BJ or Frye when you start to think about each guy's skills and attributes. It's more interesting than it sounds on the surface. Hence...the thread.

Yep. And BJ was NEVER knocked out. But Frye hit hard as fuck. But BJ was game as hell against a HW Machida. But back then Machida wasn't the sniper he turned into later. And both BJ and Frye's gas tanks aren't the best in the business. Also BJ hit hard as fuck for his size and had good accuracy and timing. Could he have possibly ko'd Frye? Tank Abbott couldn't ko Frye, but Tank and BJ are very different kinds of strikers. idk man

Would be entertaining AF!!

Size might be too much tho.
If it's the BJ that fought, Kenny and Diego.. would maybe have a chance. But Frye is alpha .

yeah, Frye just to big

It really comes down to whether BJ can grow a suitable defensive mustache, which he probably can't. Gotta go with the Predator.

Hard to say. This makes me think of Frye bullying an undersized Amaury Bitteti (who was probably 175-185 pounds). But Bitteti was an early one-dimensional BJJ specialist. Penn would do much better in the striking department, but Frye could do some damage on the ground with GnP...or get submitted.

An interesting thought experiment, but something that never really could've happened, unless it was in K-1 MMA circa 2003-2005, when Frye was already past his prime.

BJ would win very quickly.

Early UFC Frye wasn't the monster he was in Pride. Look at the pic in the OP. I'm honesty not sure that Frye was any stronger than Prime Matt Hughes. And he sure didn't have the wrestling technique of Prime Hughes. And look how BJ used his boxing and BJJ technique to dismantle Hughes.

Here is the size difference between early UFC Frye and Pride Frye:

^ again, looking at that first pic, I'm not sure that Frye would've been more of a physical challenge than Prime Hughes was. But who knows
