It's fine if your a retired fighter like Randy or Chuck, but if you are just coming off a loss and want to be taken seriously as a MMA fighter, you should be training your butt off, not galavanting around on DWTS
 
Don't think she really wants to be a mma fighter she's done with this dancing thing, her is only going to rise even if she loss in mma. Her personality isn't too bad also to make it in Hollywood compared to Ronda

She's still young, being on dancing with the stars won't hurt her MMA career, it will bring more attention for her comeback fight.
 
It says she is smart and maximising her earning potential.She could be a pretty face and earn peanuts or get casual interested in her and earn some good money
 
She took a pretty bad ass whooping from Rose and probably realized that she neede A) more time to develop her skills, or B) time away from the sport to get her head right.

Or both.

Either way, I can't think of anyone in MMA that I'd rather see gallivanting...

WTF TS? So if you want to be a serious MMA fighter, you can't do other stuff? Several fighters have smole roles in movies or are do ing ads.

MMA doesn't pay very well, and guys have very short careers. If they can use their fame from MMA to get in to other arenas, they can make more money and maybe have a life after MMA, or at least save up some money or buy a house for when they have to work at McDonalds.
 
Dancing with the stars pays 10x what her mma fights do. It is something like 125 k just to show up and it keeps piling on if you make it past week 6 and so on. This will also setup a film or tv career like ronda and gina.
 
unlike most mma fighters,she has other oppurtunities to make money other than getting beat up. She's smart to take them.
