Stuff one of Carla's takedowns and she looks lost.
Remember when she was going to be the long reigning champ?
Then JJ showed up.
she has excellent takedowns, but outside of that not a whole lot.Carla. It's easy to forget after her performance against JJ, but Carla is pretty damn good. She's one fight removed from beating Rose rather easily and before that beat Penne, Tecia Torres, and Angela Hill in succession on TUF (whether or not they go on the official professional record, the fights happened and she won them).
Gadelha is the WS Cain, she pulled out of two fights vs Esparza prior to them being in the UFC.People who knew strawweights before that reality show saw the winner as someone who would hold the belt for Gadelha. Then JJ showed up.
Anyways, Esparza has this.
I think Rose would smash her in a rematch.Carla. It's easy to forget after her performance against JJ, but Carla is pretty damn good. If this fight happens and I think we are jumping the gun a bit, I think Esparza wins.
Carla is a one dimensional LNP fighter, has the reach of a "marmot"and would be handled by any reasonable fighter with good striking.
"level of competition"L&P fighters don't have 70% finish rates.
