When Conor wins, the UFC will make him defend his belts because they are not going to allow him have a title shot for the welterweight belt. If he successully defends both belts then they might give him a change to move up and challenge for the welterweight belt as well. But right now there are too many contenders in line. So I think he will eventually defend the featherweight belt against Frankie Edgar and then defend against the winner of Ferguson vs Nurmagomedov or vice versa depending how that landscape looks like at that time.

His real weight class is LW and after all these years he's finally moving up.
