Jones beating Cormier is a formality. Jones vs Rumble is the real fight and Jon is going to sleep in round one.

Hate to MMAth here but what makes you think he will have better luck than he did against Cormier when going up against Jones? Rumble is going to have a lot of trouble wading through the "accidental" eye pokes to get that knockout and Jones has showed time and again that he has great control over the distance the fight takes place.

Cormier only barely survived after getting hit with that overhand right. Was lucky it didn't him on the chin or behind the ear. Jon may not be as lucky.

Jon will have a harder time maintaining distance because of Rumbles size/reach.
 
Sad to say but both Jones and Cormier are very bad matchups for Rumble. Jones is unorthodox and has tools everywhere, Cormier has an amazing chin and can grind him out hard. Would love to see Rumble keep improving though, hell of a finisher.

Dude I love Rumble but you are reaching if you think DC was close to being finished. He caught him off balance and that was about it. Then blew his wad and kinda gave up.

Rumble's reach is 78 inches... That's not going to make Jones have any issues. Rumble will need to get too close to hit and when he does that, then Jones will take him down or will clinch and push him against the fence.
But then if he doesn't close the distance, Jones will just keep hitting him from where he can't hit back.

Jones is a complicated puzzle to solve, man. It's really difficult to bet against him.
 
Dont care if Jones wins or loses. Just want him to be durable enough to make millions more dollars,and give his family, and himself a good life. Fuck the UFC, and fuck UFC fans.

GTFO. DC was more hurt than he'd ever been or has been since. Rumble sent him flying across the cage.
 
I do think that rumble has the best chance of defeating Jones outside of HW.
 
Man rumble needs to be able to wear eye goggles if they ever meet.
 
Rematch with dc not a guarantee. Ring rust.. Dc desperate to not lose twice..
