3 nightmare matchups for prime Fedor(in depth)

Fedor's prime didn't last long because Fedor w as one of the rare clean fighters of his era. Other fighters extended their careers with steroids.

Total speculation since he wasn't tested during his prime...and he's from a country where steroid use among athletes is about as common as eating ice cream in the U.S.

A thread like this would have been interesting before 2010. Now its just silly. At this point theres a good 20 HWs out there that would beat him along with several LHWs, the guy is beyond done.

I simply said he was released....it's not always necesary to fill in every detail from 11 years ago. He had lost twice to Tim Sylvia, who was the laughingstock around here and considered way below the better Pride HWs. Only in Fedor's revisionist history is AA considered "more prime" than Fedor was.

You're right, inconsequential details like Arlovski looking his career best against Rothwell and starching Big Country in the fight previous have no place in your world. Werdum had lost to JDS and Arlovski - and ended up beating Fedor. Arlovski losing to Tim literally means nothing for the purposes of this discussion. It's MMA. Everyone loses to everyone.

Arlovski was "released", therefore he sucks. Who cares that he was ranked #2 on Sherdog in January 2009.

Arlovski beating Rothwell and Nelson (neither of which ever made it to a UFC title fight) is super relevant but Arlovski losing twice in a row to Sylvia "means nothing."

So typical of the cherry-picking and general irrationality of Fedor's fanboys.

Yes, looking in good form heading into the Fedor fight, career-best form, actually, is relevant when discussing whether or not he was in his prime for that fight (he was). You're finally starting to get it!
